Donation of Marcel Deblauwe

Marcel Deblauwe from Blankenberge donated some egodocuments (map 'croix de feu', deposit book, obituary card,...) of is father Oscar Deblauwe (13th Line regiment) from Varsenare to the In Flanders Fields Museum.

Especially the recording of an interview with the war veteran from the First World War, telling about his training, injuries, leave at the place of shelter of his parents, is very interesting.

Thanks to those documents and information, the story of Oscar Deblauwe will be remembered in the personal circuit of the museum.
