ART PIECES

The Veil of Irpin

At the heart of the museum, Nikita Kadan presents the installation The Veil of Irpin. He uses debris and twisted metal sheets from the war-torn areas of Ukraine. The result is a rigid metal flag, suspended from a massive cross set on a stone pedestal.

Tryvoha (the Sirens and the Mast)

Inside St Peter’s Church, visitors step into a circular space made of transparent fabric. The shrill, continuous wail of sirens fills the air. This threatening soundscape sharply contrasts with the sacred stillness of the church.
